Synopsis

Joseph, a young minister in a small Alabama town, stands at the grave of his wife when his solitude is interrupted by Laura, a young woman visiting her son's grave. Meanwhile, on a cliff overlooking town, three friends reunite for the first time since high school. Two seemingly unrelated stories are told, coming together in a surprising, funny, and moving revelation that grace often comes where we least expect it.

Audience: I don't when I have so deeply felt so many emotions. The Baptist thing, the racial theme and the high school buddy memories were almost too much for me to bear. Beautifully written, directed, and performed. -George

I had the pleasure of seeing this play. I didn't come with an expectation of being blown away, but that is exactly what happened. The play was 90 minutes long and at the end of the play I still wanted more. Hats off to the entire cast and crew of Keeping Watch. -Marcia
